Istanbul

Here are the pictures from Istanbul. I would love to go back someday because we barely got to see half of the things to see there. Istanbul is big. Just in the city lives more people than all of the country of Georgia.

Trip to Turkey

Trip to Turkey

Hello to all!

I just got back from a very much needed vacation to Turkey. Giga and I spent 4 days in Cappadocia and 4 days in Istanbul. We took the night-train from Tbilisi to batumi (on the West coast) and then walked across the border and took several buses down to Cappadocia. In Cappadocia we filled up our days with lots of tours of caves cities, underground cities, museums, and plenty of hiking. Cappadocia honestly didn’t look like any place in the world I have ever seen before. Hotels, houses, restaurants, and nearly everything was built into these rock formations. Here are some pictures of that part of the trip:
