New mailing address
Erica has a new mailing address:

She said that the old address will still work she thinks, but to try and use the new one if at all possible. Her laptop is also scheduled to be repaired within the next week or two, the technicians are currently waiting on the new system board to arrive. She also has a cell phone now, and would love to get calls from everyone, so if you're interested ask her mom or myself and we'd be glad to give you the number.

Marianne,
Erica is 8 hours ahead of the East Coast. She is not charged to receive calls on her cell phone. You need international access (it might be 011) and then the country code for Georgia is 995.
Her number is then 996-54-571.

Shirlee,
I was wondering why you'd gone to Georgia (Atlanta?)...so, how was China? I still wonder how it would be to go there to teach English for a year or so. Erica is doing really well. Happy with her new town, family, house, supervisor, etc. If she doesn't get her laptop back soon, I'll post more. I am so grateful for cell phones! Does anyone know if Virginia went to Sri Lanka this summer?

I have no plans to go to Sri Lanka, although I would like to very much during dry season. I'm still in New York, and I still haven't sent the awesome package that I have put together for Erica. Maybe next week.

hey all, it's shuly. thanks juliette and chris for the email with ericas contact info...some day i might actually be able to reach her. i moved to site yesterday and all is going pretty well for the most part. beyond scared and beyond excited! take care! i'll be checking in periodically saying a "jambo!"
